As most people were climbing into bed, my good friend Kevin and I were scaling the side of a steep mountainside. As those in bed were closing their eyes, the shutter on Kevin's Canon EOS 7D Mark 2 was wide open, taking in every spectacular detail of the southern starscape. With only a slight bit of color enhancement the results were stunning.
